Most privacy policies are written only for website visitors. This one covers two groups, because we hold information about both.
If you got an email from us and want to know where we found your address, section 4 is the one you want. It’s written plainly on purpose.

We don’t run analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing pixels on this site. Nothing on this page is watching you.
Our web host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. They exist for security and troubleshooting. We don’t use them to build a profile of you.
The site sets only the cookies WordPress needs in order to work. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Booking runs through Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email address, time zone, and whatever you type into the booking form, and passes it to us. Calendly’s own privacy policy governs what Calendly does with it.
We use it to hold the call and to follow up about working together. Nothing else.
We hold what’s needed to run the engagement: your contact and business details, the specialty and criteria you gave us, and the record of which opportunities we sent you and which ones closed.
We keep that while we’re working together, and our records roll over each tax year.
This is the section most people are here for.
What we hold. Your name, job title, employer, business email address, and publicly stated information about your role. Nothing about your personal life. No personal email addresses and no personal phone numbers.
Where we got it. From information published by you or by your employer: your company’s website, your professional profile, a business directory, a conference listing, or similar. We record where each address came from and when. We do not buy or rent contact lists, and we do not scrape personal accounts.
Why we contacted you. Because your published role suggested that a specific consultant we work with could help with something specific. If the message didn’t read that way, it was a bad message, and we’d rather hear about it than not.
Who sees it. Our own team. We don’t sell, rent, or share outreach contact data with anyone, including our own clients, unless you reply and agree to an introduction.
How to make it stop. Use the unsubscribe link in any message, reply with the word “unsubscribe,” or email info@close1st.com. We act on it within 10 business days and usually the same day. It’s permanent, and it applies across every campaign we run, not only the one you replied to.
How to have it deleted. Same three routes. One honest caveat: after deletion we keep your email address on a suppression list, because that is the only reliable way to guarantee we never contact you again. If you’d rather we delete that too, say so, and understand that you may hear from us in future.
We use third parties to run the business: Hostinger for hosting and Calendly for scheduling. Each holds only what it needs to do its job.
We also share information where the law requires it. That is the only other case.
We have never sold personal information and have no plans to.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@close1st.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re in Canada, PIPEDA gives you these rights, and you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you’re in a US state with a privacy law, you have comparable rights under it. We apply the same process to everyone regardless of where you are, because running two processes is how mistakes happen.
Our team is based in Karachi, Pakistan, so information you give us is accessed from there. Our service providers store data in the United States and elsewhere.
If you’re in Canada or the EU, that means your information leaves your country. You’re entitled to know that, which is why it’s written here rather than buried.
This is a business service. We don’t knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
If we change it, we update the date at the top. Anything material also gets a note on the homepage.
